Donald Gillespie Ph.D. Director HomeCare Solutions
Don is an experienced health care professional with 30 years experience in health care administration. Most of these years were focused on home care services. As a hospital division administrator for two large systems for over 20 years he has been the leader in planning and implementing over 25 home care and rehabilitation businesses. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from Western Michigan University and a Master of Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. Prior to moving to health care administration he was a professor of sociology and social work. He has presented papers at numerous state, regional and national conferences on home care topics.
Angi Levandoski, Manager, Systems Support
Angi has over 20 years experience in management in hospitals and home
health care with the last 13 years at a Hospital owned Home Care Agency
in Indiana. Angi has experience in implementing the McKesson Horizon
Home Care System, and has managed the Patient Accounts, Scheduling, and
Customer Service departments at a Home Care Agency. Angi is process
oriented, and always looking at ways to become more efficient in using
our system. Angi attended Glen Oaks Community College.
Sara Simonds, RN, Manager of Consulting Services
Sara has over 15
years experience in management in hospitals and home
health care and 8 years at Lakeland. She has experience
in new agency start-ups for home care and hospice, including front
line management, staff hiring, and daily operations.
Sara has expertise in Medicare regulations and Joint
Commission standards, ICD-9 coding, clinical
documentation review, OASIS integrity review, compliance
audits, and conducts training and education programs.
She is the Homecare and Hospice Consultant for ongoing agency
operations and survey preparation. Sara, an RN, has
COS-C certification and has a
Bachelors of Science degree in Health Studies from
Western Michigan University.
Stan Strzyzykowski, RN, Consultant for Lakeland HomeCare Solutions
Stan
has
over
30 years
experience
in
healthcare,
including
inpatient,
long-term
transitional
care,
hospice
and
home
care.
Responsibilities
have
included
quality
improvement,
management,
education,
patient
care,
and
report
writing
and
data
analysis.
His
last
9 years
have
been
in
home
care
and
hospice.
He
has
an
extensive
background
using
and
educating
in
using
Horizon
Home
Care
as
well
as
report-writing
and
OASIS.
Stan
is
an
RN,
with
a
BS
degree
in
Nursing
from
Andrews
University
and
has
completed
graduate
coursework
at
Western
Michigan
University.
Debbie Piggott, CAPT,
Patient Accounts Supervisor
Debbie has 9 years experience in Medicare Certified Home
Care, Hospice and Home Infusion billing. She is
responsible for billing 14 affiliate agencies and
maintains overall days in accounts receivable of 49. 2
out of 14 agencies are below 40 days in accounts
receivable. She is extremely conscientious and takes
pride in her efficient process. She attended Western
Michigan University.
Robert Lafler,
MCSA, Systems Analyst
Bob has been in home care for 8 years but has many years
of experience with computer hardware and software. He provides ongoing computer support
for home care and hospice networks. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and does database administration as well as report customization. He works closely
with the IT and Patient Accounts departments.
